  1. Please research information you are putting out on your site. Until a later stage kidney patients are encouraged to drink plenty of water. Also you have fish as a yes to eat, then fish as a no to eat in the same article. Please get your facts straight. This is a serious disease – don’t lead people in the wrong direction.

    • I noticed that too… that first, fish was recommended, then later on as I read, it was a no-no! How can we, as CKD patients, have any faith in articles like this, when we need to learn all we can just to survive this deadly disease. Also, we’re told to avoid foods high in potassium, then told to eat plenty of vegetables. What to do, what to do…..

  2. As a previous person replied, it’s VERY confusing to me that in any given article concerning renal diets, there seems to be conflicting information. Upon rereading one of the plans, I realized that SOME foods are ok for particular substances, such as sodium, but not for, say, phosphorus. Not sure if that’s an accurate comparison, but I hope anyone reading this gets my point. Am frustrated and confused the more I read! Guess I may need to consult a nutritionist…
